Laishley Crab House is well known for its delicious seafood. Their menu boasts of the Grouper,  Lobster, Basa, King Crab, Shrimp and so much more. They too have a great selection of sushi and oysters. For the people who are looking for non-seafood options they offer Burgers, Chicken, Salads and Steaks. Hurricane Charleys Raw Bar & Grille is loved & well known by the locals. Their fresh sushi & oysters bar are one of the best around town, They offer crayfish, oysters & scallops along with steaks, chicken, sandwiches, pastas, burgers & salads. My favorite is their smoked gouda mac & cheese. Peace River Seafood's signature is "just caught fresh seafood" so basically what is caught that morning that is what is being sold in their market and on the table in their restaurant. They offer steam pots of Blue Crabs, Shrimp, Oysters, along with Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Stone Crabs, Gator Gumbo,  Shrimp Creole & Burgers to just name a few menu selections. Village Fish Market has a wide variety of seafood dishes, steaks, pasta ,burgers, hot dogs and chicken. Some of the fish that  is on their menu is Crab, Lobster, Swai, Grouper, Haddock, Cod, Shrimp, Oysters, is just a few. They offer their fish prepared either blackened, baked, broiled or fried. The price range is $12.00 to $32.00 for dinners. The local owners opened here in 2003.  Their restaurant is on the Peace River in Fishermans Village with additional outdoor seating. Farlows on the Water  has a supper club flare to it. Their menu is quite expansive. The fresh catches are Golden Tile, Hogfish, Pompano, Cobia Corvina, Black Grouper,  and so many more. They offer hand-cut steaks, pork, chicken, pasta dishes and salads to tempted any palate. Prices ranges for dinner $19.00  to $32.00. They also offer vegetarian dishes.  Sharks Fish House is a great local restaurant in North Port  since 2002 offering many different types of Seafood like Haddock, Cod, Shrimp, Scallops, Basa, along with a few more  seafood options. They offer the fish mostly Fried but you can have some prepared by blackened  and sauteed. For the non fish folks the have Burgers, Chicken Tenders, and salads. The Myakka Oyster Bar is a casual setting on the Myakka River with some patio seating. They offer a Fresh Catch of the Day along with Shrimp, Scallops, Haddock, & Grouper. Pioneers offers stone oven baked New York Style Pizza even with pizza by the slice. Their specialty pizzas are great or you can get it made exactly how you like it. Monty's is a staple of Punta Gorda, with homemade original recipes from back in 1983. They offer much more than just pizza, with specialty pizzas , strombolis, calzones, a full pasta menu with chicken, steak, veal, hero sandwiches , soups, salads & desserts. You definitely can't ever go wrong at Monty's. They offer  a back room for party's for privacy. Price ranges are moderate for the area. Manatees Pizza has a slightly thicker crust than thin and crispy. They do have  unique pizzas along with your traditional ones and of course made to order. Their menu offers many different pasta/Italian dishes. Chicken & Steak Stromboli's, Calzone's and so much more.  Bobarino's offers infamous stuffed Pizza's. Yum not many pizzeria's in our area do have that on their menu. Along with stuffed, they have gourmet, and made to order pies.
